I posted an article earlier today about how some research organizations are calling for the FDA to allow dying patients to get experimental drugs, along with a relaxing of the standards for making those drugs for that purpose (rather than have to have a certified good manufacturing practices facility make them, a company could make them in their lab).

The FDA genuinely is trying to speed up the approval process. I never would have believed it, but the late lamented Scott Gottlieb really tried. Too bad they forced him out because the tobacco companies didn't like his initiative against vaping.
