Leronlimab just blocks the CCR5 receptor on the T cell. It does nothing to modify precursor T cells or the development of T cells. Which is what would be necessary to accomplish what you describe.
What NP was saying (although a bit garbled) was that leronlimab would act the same as the CCR5 deletion marrow transplants. It would reduce HIV to such negligible levels that it would effectively be a cure.
