It takes a long time to get any deal. People are assuming that they can stop holding out for a great deal and just pull the trigger on one of the many "good" deals sitting on the table. The truth is there may not be any "adequate" or even "crap" deals on the table right now. We have no idea.
The PRs this year are designed to make us FEEL like a deal is just around the corner. That is Leo's job as CEO - sell stock to keep the company afloat until a deal can be made. He's doing the best he can with the fluff he has to work with.
It may take months to work through the EMA planning, arranging host EU states for trial sites, and getting approval to start phase 3. All of this may be required before a deal can be inked.
It may be a while. Patience is required. Leo's doing his best for us.
