I am trying to strike a very balanced position here, not overly rosy or overly drab.
At this point in time, IMO we need a GOOD deal, not necessarily the greatest deal possible. If a BP hasn't stepped to the plate by now with a great deal, can we really expect much more by these types of PRs?
I keep saying OM is a very attractive target, but by far the smallest target B and K will be addressing. So why string things out when times are critical in regards to financing, total validation, etc for a great deal? Get the monies from a good deal and start to advance the other indications that will really bring in the big bucks.
I feel PRs this year led many to believe a deal was in the near making. Now, it could be another few months as a new increased bid today would most likely take a number of weeks to progress into a finalized deal (and I may be way too optimistic to believe it could even happen that fast).
I hate to sound like I am the only one somewhat PO'd about the PR today, but nobody else seems to want to chime in. I notice posts get about 170 views or more but maybe only 10 people post their views. Not a great sign of a board that should have lots of discussion to validate ideas of our investment moving forward.
If no responses, guess I will slip into quiet mode as I don't want to be the only squeaky wheel.
