Re: forrealb #2588

Sounds similar to the conversation I had with Todd when he first got the SIRG permitting process. I also asked him how many mines fail to get permits and he said it is very rare that a mine fails to get permitted.

I know of only Augusta Resources who has failed to get permitted and their circumstances are rare - in a residential and recreational area, lack of water, air pollution, etc. Rare Jaguars have been found in the area along with long nosed bats and a rare orchid and- yes orchids do grow in Arizona. This is a prime birding area. Need to get USFS permit to use over 3000 acres of the Coronado National Forest to dump their tailing piles.

That is an observatory tower on Mt. Wrightson and a Boy Scout camp in the mountains.

been spent on this endeavor!
