Some patients who are HIV negative but with higher risk , deciding to use anti-retro-viral treatment as a prevention.
Keydruda was approved for that reason.
But there are problems IMO with this treatment . Keytruda is not enough as a single medicine to treat HIV , So it was expected that some patients might develop HIV with exposure , or develop drug resistant HIV.
And that what is happening , 7 patients so far proven ...
Keytruda also don't cover drug resistant virus , so it is not protecting patients here at all ....and has lot of side effects ..
I never liked this treatment and in my opinion more patients will come with HIV , and possibly more drug resistance ...
