I share some of your concerns. Since the number of authorized but not issued shares will be proportionately reduced I do not believe we will be less significant in terms of shares held by shareholders. However, someone with say, 100,000 shares after a 100-1 R/S will then have 1,000 shares. If the share price was .05 it would become 5.00 after the split, the total investment value ($5,000) would not change. But here is the rub, most of the crazy money that can be manipulated to cause a .05 stock to become 3.00 is off chasing other penny stocks (OTC). The guy with just 1,000 shares worth $5,000.00 is facing the real world of stock growth........patents granted, distribution deals, joint-ventures, institutional interest, etc...............and if these things don't happen........forget about it.
While I have not heard anything to make me think the real plan is to turn the Company private, the R/S does facilitate such a move. That said, I am Long for the duration and place my trust in the management of OWCP as they appear to have the shareholders interests.
