I can attest to that Red. Spent some time looking for the patent application on the uspto site searching for things like nFusz, clickable c-t-a, in-video, Rory Cutaia, etc... There were a smattering of patents and patent applications from the likes of Google, Facebook, and smaller unknown-to-me companies involved in the space. Good to know we are in good company. But better to know we are carving out our own IP real estate in that realm.

I did not find our patent application, most likely due to the fact that the gov moves at a snails pace and who knows how long it takes for application filings to hit the database, but also probably due to my own inadequacies at searching the uspto database. Maybe I need to sign up for the Redspeed Searching For Dummies course.

I did, however, find a patent owned by Rory Cutaia from. 2002.
