Why not then hold off BTD and EOP news until a deal is signed if a deal is in the cards shortly after the EOP mtg (prior to end of year) and then announce all at once?

I don't think a deal would happen that quickly so I am for the EOP/BTD update as late in the year as possible. I think most longs are pretty confident the BTD has been granted so why not let the yahoos worry about it a bit longer?

All goes back to trusting mgt to issue PRs to maximize value.
