Thanks Murph. I would not be invested in AMBS if I didn't think they had patent priority. I believe Herantis is named as such because it is the heir to Amarantus if we fail(even though they seem to be advancing faster - fine, let them do the work, prove the concept).
Still, Herantis was in fact granted a US patent for MANF in PD and I think getting into IP fights is expensive, and we have no money. As I have posted before, from my reading of their patent, they basically say that we described the composition of matter wrong. I don't know to what extent something that fundamental could undermine everything else or even if its true, or that was the crux of the patent, but its in there.
