I wasn't referring to 'encapsulation', I was talking about 'film', presuming of course that QD-encapsulation & film embedment of those encapsulated QD's are 2 separate processes...which was all in-answer to this statement you made on another board in post#65285:

Therefore, QMC will not make products (like film) itself, but team with partners via Joint Venture, Joint Development or Licensing and Royalties who will make the products. That frees QMC to supply QD and other nanoparticles to a wide number of vertical industries and rake in profits by their contracts. To lower the risk, there could be a component in the licensing contracts that pays QMC for its "costs" of producing the QD up front. QMC did make a film to show display makers a while back, but probably used a third party or potential partner for that, unless it was a very small sample film."
