I don't think anyone is looking at this from the perspective of David & Family. He and his wife (Royal Capital) are holding many tens of millions of NTEK shares. The only way to recoup the value of those shares is to sell NTEK. Why would David walk away from NTEK and not try get something of value for all those shares? That makes no sense.
David is certainly no "Sir Galahad" who will suddenly decide to do what is right for shareholders after he has saw fit to royally screw shareholders for years. However IMO what will benefit him the most is to sell NTEK and its subsidiary UF asap and shareholders will thus benefit as well.
Keep in mind you can add up all the toxic debt, unpaid law suits and then substract that from any reasonable buyout figure from here: Lets go with a wide range 10-100M. That would still be anywhere from 3 times to as much as 100 multiples higher than where we sit totday so I will take my chances.
