I was under the impression that there are groups that go after NR that get "upside down" in certain stocks and make them pay royally to get out. Any chance that could happen here or is that just an old wives tale?

If it is so, how would such a group go about acquiring enough stock so that the price would skyrocket and really hammer the shorts? Would they be willing to invest the amount needed to get such an amount of shares?

This is more of just a fun exercise to me rather than expecting to make a lot of money off the NR position.
