I would agree that Platinum is doing their DD on DECN as that kind of investment (2.1B) would be ill advised without understanding the implications of their current position. Whether Platinum decides to do anything with DECN now or in the future is certainly debatable and we'll see if there is any interaction in the coming months.

I'm of the opinion that J&J and Platinum have already agreed on a number for the DECN variable of the equation as part of their offer. The only questions remaining are when things get set in motion and if KB has agreed to a number.
