Sox: You said "I think dilutions were a major factor in the SP decline. It happens to every pre-revenue biotech because they need to raise money to advance the pipeline. When the SP was ~$5 in December 2014, the OS was 116.6M. Now the OS is 147.2M. Even if the MC stays the same ($500M in 2014), the SP will decrease by 26% due to 26% dilution.
I agree. Dilution is partially responsible for a decrease in share price. As you point out since the stock was trading at $5.00 per share there has been dilution of 26% with the outstanding going from 116.6M to 147.2 million or 30.6M shares. Again we agree. So if the stock was not subject to abusive naked shorting and manipulation and taking into consideration all the positive results from its science over that time the share price should be around $3.70 per share. That is not the case instead of a 26% decrease we have experienced as 90% decrease to about .50 per share.
The difference of where we should be and where we are is substantial and in my opinion is a result of abusive naked shorting which is criminal and manipulation. Go IPIX!!!
