I seem to recall years ago when the company was looking to raise funds, they figure out something along the lines that they could do a IPO because of some reason. I don't remember the details, but it doesn't matter.

By having the subs, it opens up more options of raising money. The business climate is good. Last time, the bio funding world went south by the time they were ready. Hope it happens sooner than later as the climate will eventually change.
