It's all speculation at this point. What's happening behind the scenes is anyone's guess. Based on what others have said, the judge could be just taking his time, or he could be waiting till things develop between J&J and the potential Chinese buyer. If J&J gets a buyer for their diabetes business then the lawsuit may just settle itself. The other possibility is that the Chinese may also be interested in buying out DECN in the same bite. It's all just talk at this point. But, we do know that there is Chinese interest in J&J's diabetes business according to several news sources.
