Attorneys here, correct me if this is not accurate: i think they only have to pay the filing fee for the Appeal, plus possibly a bond. i suspect SA has to file something new to get anything, because as far as i recall, they never summarized their alleged costs on paper: furthermore, the judge never ordered any particular financial compensation for costs.
