I concur Drano "The first drug to be approved has an advantage because doctors get used to prescribing it and probably won't switch to the newer drug unless it has a huge advantage.

That's what I keep hearing from my wife and all her colleague on their clinic and even if there is a new drug med rep seems to get hard time to get appt from them for med rep drug presentation and thus as you say first drug has a huge advantage.
