Re: dukelasilver #5016
For those that haven't seen this for DUI offenders; An ignition interlock device or breath alcohol ignition interlock device (IID and BAIID) is a breathalyzer for an individual's vehicle. It requires the driver to blow into a mouthpiece on the device before starting the vehicle. DMV mandatory 1+years.
I think bsafe has something in that order.
Along the same line Bsafe would be a mandatory purchase for a distracted driver with 2or+ offences and the DMV would be their Admin, DMV could set up a couple cubicles say in Sacramento, Ca. monitoring. If they get a hit DMV sends them a suspension letter (plus adjusted fine) for 30-60-1year depending number of repeat offerences. If driver doesn't comply an arrest warrant issued with jail time bonus.
Word gets out of real penalties besides wrist slaps and Bsafe won't stay on the shelf.
I know this is a future maybe but after all we're talking about lives here.
Anyway, no fun watching Level 2 now.
