OT: Anatabloc. Several of us here have used the supplement Anatabloc as a systemic anti-inflammatory. It's anatabine citrate, a substance naturally found in tobacco. The FDA banned it here on a pretext -- some people taking it posted comments on the company website that it "cured" their arthritis -- because the CEO of that company was accused of bribing the governor of Virginia to let the supplement be paid for by the state medicaid system. (The governor has since been cleared, but the FDA's (in my opinion) politically-motivated ban has remained.)

The original formulation was a table that was to be dissolved in the mouth, for direct absorption through mucus membranes. This is in a capsule. It works to either open the capsule and put the powder in your mouth, or to just dissolve the capsule in your mouth, if you want to use the sublingual delivery.
