hawks, I lived in SE Iowa for 3 years in the mid 70's and drove through the central part of the state to get to Minneapolis. Flat as a pancake, mostly. A joke was the state tree of Iowa is a telephone pole.Then years later I took I-80 west from Des Moines in like 2008 , hilly and wind farms all over the place, I thought it was flat. I was educated.
