Then there are the 'white boards' in Mueller's office showing pictures of named people with lines connecting and crisscrossing toward each, as we've seen in many a TV show or movie showing police procedure.

I'm sure that there are several hypotheses that Mueller's team is working off of. Obstruction of justice is at least one of the hypotheses and conspiracy against the U.S. is probably another one.
