Exciting times coming! The future here appears to be very bright.
The fact that PTAB challenge by CDT followed the settlement conference, IMO, is an indication that the numbers are much higher than expected.
Attorneys fees are typically $3M-$5M. so the fact that R&G and Blank Rome did not compromise with a lower number to simply move on to the next 20-30 larger infringers is a great indication that at least one of those three infringers are in the $20-$30M (conservative) without treble damages.
This will be intresting to follow in the coming months.
