Re: GreenMachine84 #11239
I'm fine with a listing in Canada, but question whether at current prices we get on the exchange that does have more credibility than the OTC. I believe their are a few different exchanges in Canada, just as their are hear. The OTC is far better than the Pink, but if the Canadian listing is just at the same level as the OTC, I'd rather see them wait for the higher level listing.
I know they've voiced the goal of getting on the Nasdaq, which I fully support, but know we require a $4 share price, and other considerations to make that happen. Clearly it could in the next year, but I also believe that the confusion over cannabis being legal Federally could prevent it. I believe the AMEX exchange still exists under the Nasdaq, and believe a listing on it is possible over $1. Perhaps the confusion over cannabis isn't a problem there, I really don't know.
All these questions would be answered if Congress took action that was more than a band aid preventing Justice from prosecuting in State's where marijuana has been legalized. If they even legalized the use of products extracted from the plant, it would totally legitimize companies like OWCP.
