Hold both a long and a short position at once. Trade the short position and make money every week. Hold the long position as a hedge and for eventual good news. Admittedly, the last 6 weeks or so the stock price has been glued in the .70-.75 range. Prior to that though we had two 30% declines and two 30% increases this year.
They can't get squeezed because they have long shares as well. They just need to make more than they pay in interest on the short margin. That's why you see so many of these jokers go hot-cold-hot-cold on the stock. It's usually a winning play on stocks that have been damaged by Makos/Rosens and raise cash by selling equities. Make short money for months (or years in our case) and be long or hedged for eventual good news.
