It was the stock market that valued it at $1.8M. Not me, not the courts, not an outlandish lawsuit. That is reality and the facts. Look at the stock history.
Now you could argue, that was then, this is now. The fact is there is no other skin substitute on the market nor one with the history of success as ESS.
You see it all the time when two companies are involved in a lawsuit, especially a billion dollar lawsuit it severely impacts the stock price. I can tell you a number of Nasdaq stocks in that boat.
While every one loves to run around and bad mouth Dr. Joseph Rubinfeld and Amarantus, the facts are they were able to settle a multi-billion dollar lawsuit and end what would likely be a 5-10 year court battle. My belief is it was Dr. Rubinfeld that wasn't in any of this for the money, but to save lives and limit suffering.
Funny thing is, every time I post this which is about every 6 months or so, some people get all up in arms about it. As if they didn't want the company to succeed or massively short. Not saying you are but that has been past history with other posters. I am just posting the facts like you did which is appreciated. The court document and the stock history is clear. Keep in mind, they wouldn't be spending millions to battle a product worth $1M. $1B or more yes.
