Anyone can have a bad day, reply to someone, or a new post, and have it not come out right, 2nd thoughts are in play, and they wish they had made their point differently.

When I do it, I delete my own posts.

I get pm's frequently from many members, asking I delete their post.

Believe it or not, there are mods who ask other mods to delete them on occasion....heck, just happened today.

People tend to think message boards allow freedom of speech, but that's not true, each board has a TOS.....this is what mods use to justify deletions.

If we let this place be the wild wild west, we'd lose half our posters.

There is a happy medium....
