I could be wrong, but I believe the Phase 1 as they designed it is a double blind trial. If that's the case, they cannot look at the data acquired in the trial until the trial is concluded. As I remember the trial, one third of the volunteers involved will use a placebo cream. The patients in the trial are healthy, so about all the trial may show is what if anything is absorbed into the blood, which they are routinely collecting, and does it have an effect that's negative on the people using it.
