You may be proven right, but I don't agree that solar will be the most economical in 5-10 years. I wouldn't bet on 25 years from now. The private sector clearly doesn't agree with you or they would be all over it.

Natural gas isn't helping nuclear, but it's not what it hurting it. If we had a rational approach to nuclear, it would be the dominant power source. Not just what we normally associate with nuclear, but thorium molten salt reactors would be commonplace. Loudmouth know nothing environmentalist wackos are the problem with nuclear.
