To add to this: if you have Fidelity, and want to buy more stock, I don't think you are stuck. It takes ONE DAY to open an Etrade account and fund it. If you have a margin account (which you can simply request, it's easy), you can trade with funds that are wired from your bank account ON THE SAME DAY.
My first bank account was with a small credit union on Long Island....I still, to this day, can transfer money from that account and buy BLTA shares on the very same day. Etrade won't hold your funds for 3 days, and if it turns out you don't have $ in the bank to transfer, the broker will liquidate your holdings.
Now, why do you keep complaining about Fidelity? Move your cash to a better broker. Or, you can continue complaining about low prices and how you're "missing out" (when really, you're just a lazy bum).
