You are correct his release is Dec. 16th. The judge in his case actually extended it another 6 mo. TO Dec. 16th because Foley showed "lack of remorse".
IMO the judge may have had grudge of some sort or just was being an Ahole about the case.
Who knows David is the type of person that runs the show, hence why his return is critical.
