People won't retweet the winners. They retweet the chance of winning or to spread word to their friends. 8K followers and only 1 retweet is a terrible social media account, especially since Facebook and Twitter are big drivers to successful companies.

They need that recording artist to post a video inviting people to the contest on his Facebook page and then we retweet it/Share it on Facebook.
