Let's assume that Bill and his team of lawyer's realized that if they were to lose either the JR or the OMB hearings, that the NAFTA case would become very difficult to win. Given the fact the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that The MMRP is unconstitutional, I can understand Bill's reasoning for not pursing those two. What I can not understand is how can any ruling at the end of the month not bring us right back to challenging Lakeshore's zoning laws. Does anyone believe that the Canada government won't allow individual cities and counties to make up their own by-laws? Lakeshore has already determined that our faculty can not operate where it is located. How could any new rules change that?
