Re: Stevestiller #358
The MMRP is unconstitutional and the zoning was tied to the MMRP. Therefore an OMB hearing is a complete waste of time now. This of course was brought up at the pre-hearing by Cen but the judge was unaware of the MMRP being unconstitutional. I guess now he knows.
As for NAFTA, it is not dead.
The real case here is for the $15 million in damages that is still active. This suit will allow Cen to put guys like Bain on the stand and the rest of merry men who will be held accountable for their actions. The likely outcome will be a pay day for Cen.
In the meantime, it is obvious to everyone now that the business is overseas and the laws in Canada will be changing within the next year with regards to both MMJ and recreational. Stay tuned as the new legislation likely will make anywhere in Canada legal to grow and we've got a great big facility idling just waiting for a green light.
Try to inform yourself before assumptions. There is so much written out there about what has been going on that a high school kid could figure it out as long as he's not too lazy to read.
