The patent seems to disagree with Mr. Ehrlich's statement on oral bioavailability.
"The chemical structure of Prurisol is shown below (see formula 9). It is highly orally bioavailable (%F = 83%) compound and is metabolized primarily through alcohol dehydrogenase or glucuronyl transferase. It is also capable of crossing the blood brain barrier. It is stable and is stored at ambient temperature and protected from light. "
