More nonsense on lieHUB. CTIX did not ask for a change of venue. CTIX asked for the case to be dismissed because they though NY was not the proper venue for the case to be filed.
IMO, not being a lawyer, the judge was correct to say that the Rosen Firm could file in NY, since the OTC and various financial markets have their headquarters in NY. I always thought that was kind of a "throw it on the wall and see if it sticks" move by our lawyers, and it was trivial.
But KarinCA is absolutely wrong when she says that CTIX asked for a change of venue. They categorically did NOT. They asked for dismissal on the basis of improper venue.
Perhaps someone who posts on lieHUB can correct the record over there.
