I see your point. But I'm pretty sure we have been told that the paper was "submitted" six or seven months ago. Maybe the paper has proceeded through the peer review process pending data lock?

I would have to think that it does, because how can the paper be completed without knowing that the statistics and data in it are not going to change after it is sent for publication?
