Liberalism is not left. It is in the middle and on the right. I "think" conservatively(tempered in my thought)...in order to "apply" liberal means if need be(tolerance). The idea of "divine rights of kings and queens" as you state) is not liberal...like I said that would lean to the left. And no!...you are correct yet once again.....Iran is not liberal....not at all they are a theocracy of hatred.
