Acquisition in the early stages isn't always your friend either. If they leave the company and it's stock to continue on as it was, operating as if independent of the parent company, that's great. If not, your ride can be cut short as often the only way to invest in the company is by purchasing the stock of the parent company. Probably a nice investment, but it most likely won't have anywhere near the upside potential in a 5 to 10 year window that you originally had with the stock of the now acquired company. Granted, it doesn't always go down that way, but it can. I'd much rather see it pushed way back or follow the path of the first scenario where RMHB stock lives on.
