Read that pdf link i posted circa 2006. New York and Vermont were two of the largest federal aid receivers. That is my point.

Appalachia will always remain as it is. The war on coal started with Bush Senior. Kentucky benefited because of clean "Blue gem" coal...but.. it was brief. The current administration has decimated the industry.....and I have one extremely liberal relative that is in the water game....hates natural gas and quit working for Chevron because of such. He favors coal more so that natty gas.
