Ok got it! Turns out I had restrictions enabled to keep young uns from loading up on apps and in app purchases....forgot about that. Thanks for all the suggestions and help. We all celebrated by watching big buck bunny!! For the... I lost count of how many times...but it's cool again on ipad!!
