I agree that fear and greed are powerful emotions. However, most of us will take the time to read a positive piece before we shell out our cash. If it's a POS article, we don't buy. You might, I won't.

OTOH, if you have a substantial amount of cash invested and here is this 80 page article which blasts your company, many of us would sell immediately, figuring the stock will drop, everyone else will get the jump on us and we get nothing. You can't read a long piece like that and you can always buy back in when you have read it and determine it's crap..
