My understanding is the chill will not apply to the new company - that was the whole reason to go through this process - that is the subtle difference from INCC changing ticker.
INCC sells patents to Life Holdings Inc for Life shares
Life Holdings Inc changes name to St James Remedies Inc
St James Remedies goes public with it's own new ticker.
INCC shareholders of record on published date get St James Remedies shares (that were received by INCC as part of the deal)
I agree - anything other than revenue from sales of CBD / other remedies is a bonus at this point.
