Sorry but that's not a victory for anyone but JBII, and even then I don't know if I would call it one. A C&D is like a restraining order, but for the convicted, it amounts to no more than a little public shame. It just means you can't keep doing what you were doing to THAT specific company or person. You can keep doing it to everyone else. There is no real punishment here, and therefore no deterrent to future troublemakers.

If this kind of garbage is ever going to stop, there needs to be an actual risk involved. It should probably be a felony that comes with prison time, and they didn't even get fined.
