One of the things we may be overlooking about NTGL shares being used for dividends - most states have restrictions on how much can be paid in dividends. The usual restriction is that dividends are only allowed to be paid from profits. We don't have any. It may be possible to pay from capital, but that may be more problematic from both a legal and tax perspective.
