you are absolutely right, and etrade's own legal dept should all be fired for misleading shareholders and misleading the company's management to put holds on people's accounts. COR is NOT seeking relief from shareholders or brokerages. they seek relief from crgp. that is it. this case has nothing to do with shareholders or their divy. it has to do with WHO is responsible for paying the divy. the answer will be CRGP.
