As an old wholesaler of staple goods .... furniture ... the box stores are best for volume of that product; but like you stated, lower margins and slow pay. Seems like 90 day terms are almost normal now to do business with them.
But the volume on energy drinks and especially shot drink boosters and dominated by the smaller convenience stores.
Who wants to go fight the crowds at Walmart or big chain grocery stores to go get 5 hr shots or energy drinks? Most are bought on impulse at checkout ...... I.E. drink coolers on end cap at check out registers or a box of 5hr shots sitting on counter by register. Which is main location of sales at big box sores also!
