The term Mom & Pop is used loosely and covers a gray area where smaller franchises meet the bigger ones. It's a figure of speech. When we first talked about it we were referring to statistics on beverage sales for small to medium sized convenience stores vs larger retail giants and major franchises with much larger variety and sq footage.
