Yeah, that was definitely a noob mistake on my part. Though I doubt that's the kind of thing anyone would find from reading about how a company operates. When I think about it technically, of course that makes sense though. You can't tally up data that doesn't exist until the end of that same business day.
Would some kind of press release be expected on that date regardless? Perhaps something with a little less hard data but no less eye-popping? Something 'other' than new distributors though.

The quarter (and year for THCZ) ends on June 30th, that does not mean that they have to submit their reports on that day. The quarterlies and yearlies take time to produce and by rule they have time to prepare them before releasing them. So, don't expect a report on that day to be released.
